Our home health care agency is rapidly expanding, and we are hiring a Home Health Nurse effective immediately in Polk County.

Requirements:

• Valid Florida Nursing license
• Experience in home health

Responsibilities:

1. Complete clinical tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs
2. Administer physician-prescribed medication
3. Dress or redress wounds and assess healing progress
4. Provide education to patients and families on home health care procedures
5. Coordinate with healthcare professionals involved in the patient’s care plan
6. Ensure patient comfort through palliative care
7. Recommend tools or devices to improve quality of life

Skills:

• Proven experience as a registered or licensed nurse
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• Understanding of health and safety guidelines (sanitation, decontamination)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
