Job summary

Alpha Home Health & Hospice in Whatcom County is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our home health team. This role focuses on delivering one-on-one skilled nursing care in patients’ homes, with autonomy and collaborative support from experienced clinicians.

You will perform wound care, administration of medications, and patient education while participating in on-call rotations. A current WA LPN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Washington LPN license (current and in good standing).
• Home Health or Hospice experience preferred—but not required!
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• Valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care such as wound care, catheter care, medication administration, and symptom management
• Conduct skilled observation, assessment, and evaluation
• Deliver patient and caregiver education and support
• Collaborate with healthcare providers for cohesive, quality care
• On-call rotations required
