Maxim Healthcare in Wilmington, NC is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes in Hampstead, NC. The position offers competitive pay and weekly paychecks.

Responsibilities include using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and delivering skilled services per orders. Current LPN/LVN license and BLS are required; TB test or chest X-ray is needed.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and document nursing diagnoses.
