Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Wilmington, NC is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes across the Wallace and Warsaw, NC area.

The role offers hourly pay of $30–$35 with weekly paychecks, comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, HSA and life insurance), paid time off, a 401(k) plan and the Maxcares Awards Program. LPN/LVN license and current BLS are required; TB/Chest X-ray and one year nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as LPN/LVN in the state of practice
• TB or Chest X-ray current
• BLS card current
• One year nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care team and document nursing diagnoses.

Responsibilities:
