Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Home Health LPN in Spokane Valley, WA. This travel position involves delivering one-on-one nursing care to patients in their homes under RN supervision and accompanying patients to appointments as needed.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program, licensed in Washington, with at least one year of nursing experience, preferably in home care. CPR and health documentation may be required by contract.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program
• Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the state in which the LPN/LVN will practice
• One year prior professional nursing experience, home care experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled one-on-one nursing care in patients' homes under RN supervision
• Accompany patients to appointments when indicated
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Maintain current health certificate and TB/PPD as required

Location: Spokane Valley, WA

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the LPN/LVN (Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse) — Home Health provides skilled one-on-one nursing care to patients in their home and accompanies them when indicated to appointments, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program

• Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the state in which the LPN/LVN will practice

• One year prior professional nursing experience, home care experience preferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
