Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Long Term Care (LTC) LPN for a travel assignment in Traverse City, MI. The role delivers patient care in a Long Term Care/Assisted Living Facility with supervision and strong clinical judgment as part of a care team.

The position offers competitive weekly pay of $1,740, 36 hours per week, and benefits including health/dental/vision/life insurance and a 401(k) plan. Prior nursing experience is preferred, and a valid MI LPN license is required.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS card.
• Successful completion of screening tests for the clinical specialty area(s) with a score of 80% or greater.
• Successful completion of Background Screening Process.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care for patients in a Long Term Care/Assisted Living Facility.
• Make clinical judgments with supervision and coordination of patient care.
• Coordinate patient care with the healthcare team.

The Long Term Care LPN assumes responsibility andaccountability for the delivery of care for patients in a Long TermCare/Assisted Living Facility. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinicaljudgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision, as well ascritical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care.Additionally, this individual performs according to nursing standards and isaccountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management ofpatient care.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse License for the state inwhich the nurse practices

• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)

• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray

• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

• Current BLS card
