Job summary

Jethro Health System in Salem, MA seeks a field-based healthcare sales professional to build and maintain referral relationships, acquire new clients, and ensure high-quality service across our network.

You will travel up to 80% of the time, interact with physicians, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and case managers, and use market data to identify opportunities, drive referrals, and meet monthly production goals. You will work closely with office staff to coordinate care transitions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for building and maintaining referral relationships
  • Acquire new clients, ensuring overall satisfaction
  • Coordinate with office staff to ensure the provision of high-quality service
  • Act as a liaison between physicians, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, patients, nurses, community resources, and parent agency to assure continuity of care and smooth interaction
  • Communicate between all those involved in patient care activities
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with case managers and discharge planners in hospitals, home health agencies, nursing homes, long-term care facilities, and physicians in private practices
  • Execute effective sales calls/meetings to identify and meet referral partner needs
  • Recognize barriers to admission and follow up on admissions variables
  • Assist with the referral-to-admission process
  • Provide in-services and presentations for referral sources about services and outcomes
  • Use territory market analysis data to identify new business opportunities
  • Execute weekly and monthly goals of increasing market share through account development
  • Achieve monthly personal production goals
  • Participate in meetings and marketing activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
