Job summary

Pentec Health in Mississippi is seeking a Home Health Infusion Registered Nurse for a pool position serving the Jackson/Hattiesburg area. You will manage patient care in homes, travel within the area, and maintain your own schedule with hours Monday–Friday 8am–5:30pm.

The RN conducts assessments, delivers nursing interventions, pump refills, dose adjustments and patient education, collaborating with providers and caregivers to ensure safe, effective, person-centered care aligned with state

Qualifications

RN licensure with ability to become licensed in another state; 3 years clinical nursing experience; Valid driver’s license and auto insurance; ICU/ER/OR and/or home care experience preferred; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation for each patient; assist with telephonic and supportive nursing needs; act as a resource for referral sources, patients, and the healthcare team.
Collaborate with prescribing provider, patient and caregivers; ensure orders are received and appropriate.
Adhere to ANA and State Board standards; complete training upon hire; promote integrative care techniques to improve quality of life; maintain patient records per state, HIPAA and accrediting agency requirements.
Educate patients and caregivers on healthy lifestyle and integrative care to improve quality of life; tailor education to patient literacy; promote integrative care techniques for symptom management.
