You will collaborate with clinical and intake teams to resolve denials and maintain audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred; medical billing and coding certification may substitute.
• Professional experience as a biller or coder in a health-care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, payer requirements, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Submit and manage claims for Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and commercial payers
• Verify eligibility, review documentation, and ensure billing accuracy and compliance
• Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on unpaid claims, and resolve denials or rejections
• Process hospice and home health billing requirements, including NOE/NOTR and OASIS-linked claims
• Post payments, reconcile remittances, and identify discrepancies
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and CMS regulations
• Collaborate with clinical, intake, and coding teams to address billing issues
