CommuniCare Family of Companies through Stonerise Hospice is recruiting a Home Health Hospice Aide in the St Clairsville area. You will observe patients, document care and help with daily activities to support independence at home.

Responsibilities include personal care, meals, vital signs, ambulation, ROM, med self-administration support and reporting changes to the RN. Requires STNA license in Ohio, CPR, and ability to work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Meets training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws.
• Must have a valid STNA license in the state of Ohio.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
• Active CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Providing personal care to patients including bathing, changing bed linens, assisting with dressing, etc.
• Preparing nutritious meals and assisting in feeding.
• Taking vitals such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Assisting in ambulation and exercise according to the plan of care.
• Performing range of motion and other simple procedures as needed.
• Assisting patients in the self-administration of medications.
• Reporting on patients’ conditions and significant changes to the RN.

What You Will Do as a Hospice Aide At Stonerise
