Job summary

Responsibilities

• Adheres to agency policies and procedures.
• Improve or minimize residual disabilities.
• Return patient to optimum and productive level.
• Collaborate with health care personnel on care planning.
• Perform skilled procedures as ordered by physician and per OT plan.
• Consult with OT on treatment changes.
• Instruct patients and families in home programs and exercises.
• Participate in in-service education.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Attend patient care conferences as scheduled.
• Prepare medical records and update care plans promptly.
• Perform services planned and supervised by OT.
• Assist in preparing notes and progress.
