Mercy in Noble, OK seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support patient assessments and implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an OT. The role covers a broad age range and requires compassionate care in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Current license or eligible for licensure as COTA in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• One year experience preferred; new graduates considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist with initial assessment on each patient.
• Document the course of patient care including progress notes.
• Administer modalities, exercise regimes, or treatment procedures.
• Maintain progress notes and department records.
• Participate in promoting education within the department.
• Demonstrates knowledge of special needs across neonatal to geriatric ages.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by the Inpatient Physical Medicine Supervisor.
