A home health service provider is seeking a dedicated Home Health COTA in Anmoore, WV. The ideal candidate will assist the Occupational Therapist with vocational and educational activities, conduct community reintegration activities, and provide treatment training to enhance patient care. Qualifications include a degree from an accredited program, certification, and a minimum of two years experience in relevant clinical settings. Formación

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience assisting in the assessment and management of traumatic brain injury or related neurological conditions.
• Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and orthopedic rehabilitation technique.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing vocational and educational activities.
• Conduct community reintegration activities to assist individuals with their occupational therapy needs.
• Provide training and document results of the training.
• Support individuals' treatment plan by documenting and reporting status changes.

Conocimientos

Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and neuro-rehabilitation techniques

Current CPR certification

Educación

Degree from a certified occupational therapy assistant training program

Current Occupational Therapist Assistant certification
