Job summary

Columbia River Home Health in the Tri-Cities, WA is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide home health OT services under supervision. This role offers flexible locations across Kennewick, Pasco, Richland, or Walla Walla, WA.

Compensation starts at $36-$39/hour during onboarding and training, with a transition to a Per-Visit (PPV) model earning up to $55 per visit after training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Washington State COTA license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• Previous home health experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve patients’ functional abilities and independence.
• Observe, document, and report patient progress and responses to treatment.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on therapeutic techniques and safety practices.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary home health team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.

This position offers the flexibility to work throughout the Tri-Cities area, Walla Walla, or both, providing individualized therapy services to patients in the comfort of their homes.
