Job summary

Columbia River Home Health is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in the Tri-Cities area, Walla Walla, or both. Full-time or part-time opportunity with onboarding pay and transition to PPV up to $55 per visit after training.

You will provide therapies under a licensed OT, implement individualized plans, document progress, and educate patients and families on techniques and safety. A driver’s license and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Washington State COTA license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• Previous home health experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve patients' functional abilities and independence.
• Observe, document, and report patient progress and responses to treatment.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on therapeutic techniques and safety practices.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary home health team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
