Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a business development professional to act as the primary liaison between the company and referral sources such as physicians, hospitals, and health systems. You will educate stakeholders on services and program requirements to facilitate post-acute care transitions and improve patient outcomes.

The role requires a healthcare-related degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years in healthcare business development or sales, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or related field or graduate of nursing/therapy/social work. Equivalent experience considered.
• Highly preferred graduate of nursing, therapy or social work.
• Minimum two years of experience in healthcare business development, community relations, marketing, or sales.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulatory guidelines governing Medicare certified home health and hospice operations.
• Valid state driver license and automobile liability insurance as required by law.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Clinical license if applicable per state requirements to perform this job.
• Experience with home health, hospice, post-acute care, or related services preferred.
• Experience with electronic referral systems and Homecare Homebase (HCHB) preferred.
• Established relationships with physicians, hospitals or senior living communities and other referral sources preferred.
• Dependable transportation and ability to drive in all weather conditions.
• Fluency in English; strong oral and written communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.

• Supports referral growth by educating sources about services and program requirements to aid post-acute care transitions and improve patient outcomes.
• Navigate post-acute care transitions to promote quality and satisfaction for patients and referral sources.
