Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a skilled business development professional to grow referrals and educate partners about our home health and hospice services. The role focuses on building strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, and health systems to improve care transitions and patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a healthcare business development background, strong communication and presentation skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or related field or graduate of an approved school of nursing, therapy or social work.
• Highly preferred graduate of an approved school of nursing, therapy or social work.
• Minimum two years of experience in healthcare business development, community relations, marketing, or sales.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulatory guidelines governing Medicare certified home health and hospice operations.
• Valid state driver's license and automobile liability insurance is required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Clinical licensure may be required where applicable.
• Experience with home health, hospice, post-acute care, or related healthcare services preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic referral systems and Homecare Homebase (HCHB) preferred.
• Established relationships with physicians, hospitals or senior living communities and other referral sources preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary relationship manager between Enhabit and referral sources including physicians, hospitals, and health systems.
• Supports referral growth by educating referral sources, patients, families, and partners about services and program requirements.
• Helps navigate post-acute care transitions to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
