Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Help with toileting and other personal care needs.
• Assist with walking, transfers, positioning, and mobility.
• Take and document vital signs as directed.
• Assist with catheter and G-tube care as trained.
• Light housekeeping related to patient’s care.
• Assist with laundry, dishes, and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and PPE procedures.
• Watch for changes in patient condition and communicate concerns to the nursing team.
• Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
• Respect patient privacy, routines, preferences, and dignity.
