Job summary

Hireology is seeking a compassionate Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one in-home care for a Veteran in Copper Hill, Virginia.

The role requires Virginia CNA certification, CPR, and TB test, plus a valid VA driver’s license. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, meals, and will work closely with the home health team to follow individualized care plans.

Responsibilities

Location: Copper HillVA (In-Home Veteran Care)

Schedule: Part-Time(Wednesdays & Fridays 9a-2p)

Pay: $17 hourly (Paid Weekly)

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA to provide high-quality, one-on-one care for a Veteran in a home setting in Copper Hill, Virginia. This position is ideal for CNAs who enjoy helping others maintain independence, comfort, and dignity within their home environment.

As aHome Health Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA, you will assist the patient with activities of daily living while working closely with the home health team to ensure patients receive exceptional care in accordance with their individualized care plans.

Responsibilities of Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA:

• Provide one-on-one care for patient in a home setting
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene, and feeding
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and mobility support
• Support meal preparation, hydration, and nutritional intake
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
• Work alongside home health nurses to ensure patient care plans are followed
• Observe patient condition and report changes or concerns to the supervising nurse
• Maintain accurate communication with patients, families, and care team members

Qualifications of Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA:

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Virginia
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR certification and baseline TB skin test required
• Valid Virginia driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
