Hireology is seeking a compassionate Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA to provide one-on-one in-home care for a Veteran in Copper Hill, Virginia. The part-time role offers weekly pay and a schedule on Wednesdays and Fridays 9a-2p.

You will assist with daily living activities, support mobility, prepare meals, coordinate with the home health team, observe changes, and communicate with families.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia CNA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification and TB skin test required.
• Valid Virginia driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, dependable and patient-focused.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one home care for Veteran.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding).
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and mobility.
• Support meal preparation, hydration, and nutrition.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
• Coordinate with home health nurses to follow care plans.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes.
• Maintain clear communication with patient, family, and care team.

Pay: $17 hourly (Paid Weekly)

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA to provide high-quality, one-on-one care for a Veteran in a home setting in Copper Hill, Virginia. This position is ideal for CNAs who enjoy helping others maintain independence, comfort, and dignity within their home environment.

As aHome Health Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA, you will assist the patient with activities of daily living while working closely with the home health team to ensure patients receive exceptional care in accordance with their individualized care plans.

Responsibilities of Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA:

• Provide one-on-one care for patient in a home setting
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene, and feeding
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and mobility support
• Support meal preparation, hydration, and nutritional intake
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
• Work alongside home health nurses to ensure patient care plans are followed
• Observe patient condition and report changes or concerns to the supervising nurse
• Maintain accurate communication with patients, families, and care team members

Qualifications of Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA:

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Virginia
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR certification and baseline TB skin test required
• Valid Virginia driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
