Interim HealthCare of Salem (Roanoke) seeks a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant to provide one-on-one care in patients' homes around Vinton, VA. The role offers flexible scheduling and a supportive team dedicated to maintaining patient independence and dignity.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, nutrition, and collaborating with the home health team to follow care plans. Successful candidates will hold VA CNA, CPR, and a valid driver's license with reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Virginia CNA certification active and in good standing.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification and TB skin test required.
• Valid Virginia driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, dependable and patient-focused; strong communication.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care for patients in a home setting
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene, and feeding
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and mobility support
• Support meal preparation, hydration, and nutritional intake
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
• Work alongside home health nurses to ensure patient care plans are followed
• Observe patient condition and report changes or concerns to the supervising nurse
• Maintain accurate communication with patients, families, and care team members

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Certified Nursing Assistants – CNA to provide high-quality, one-on-one care in a home setting throughout Vinton and the surrounding coverage area. This position is ideal for CNAs who enjoy helping others maintain independence, comfort, and dignity within their home environment.

As aHome Health Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA, you will assist patients with activities of daily living while working closely with the home health team to ensure patients receive exceptional care in accordance with their individualized care plans.
