Job summary

Affirmed Home Care is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide one-on-one care for a private-duty client in Palisades Park, NJ. The role requires a valid NJ HHA certification and a driver’s license, with a willingness to drive the client in the client’s vehicle.

The schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 9 AM–3 PM, with pay starting at $19 per hour and weekly pay every Friday. The position emphasizes compassionate support and maintaining a safe, comfortable home environment.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Willingness to drive the client using the client’s vehicle.
• Current physical exam is required.
• PPD/QuantiFERON or chest X-ray as required.
• Previous HHA experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Provide companionship and support.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Maintain the client’s safety and comfort.
• Drive the client using the client’s vehicle when required by the care plan.
