Job summary

Affirmed Home Care, Inc. in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking a compassionate Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide one-on-one private-duty care for a client in New Brunswick, NJ.

This per diem opportunity offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay every Friday, and the chance to help a client remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey CHHA certification.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to drive the client with the client’s vehicle.
• Current physical examination and latest health clearances.
• PPD/QuantiFERON or chest X-ray as required by policy.
• Compassionate, dependable and professional demeanor.
• Newly certified HHAs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing and personal care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Assist with activities of daily living and medication reminders.
• Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Drive the client using the client’s vehicle when required by the care plan.
