Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care services, as necessary, to meet the patient’s needs.

Qualifications

• Meets all training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws when applicable.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care given.
• Possess and maintains current CPR certification in accordance with state regulation.
• PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Successful completion of Maxim screening examinations.
• Participation and completion of Maxim's competency program.
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist patient with plan of care: baths, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting and feeding.
• Take and record temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered.
• Support safe transfer, ambulation, and range of motion exercises as directed.
• Follow plan of care and complete all tasks assigned.
• Communicate clearly with client, family/caregiver and office.
• Observe and document patient condition and report changes to nurse supervisor.
