ST REGIS MOHAWK TRIBE is seeking a Part-Time Home Health Aide to deliver personal care and supportive services to patients in their homes under established care plans. You will assist with daily living activities, housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders while ensuring patient safety, dignity, and confidentiality.
The role requires basic training in home health aide services and a commitment to mandatory training, competency evaluations, and adhering to tribal policies.

Under the supervision of the Home Health Care Supervisor, the Home Health Aide provides personal care and supportive services to patients in their homes in accordance with established care plans. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, housekeeping, meal preparation, range of motion exercises, medication reminders, companionship, and maintaining patient safety, dignity, and confidentiality.
Must become a mandated reporter prior to having contact with children in a job-related capacity and maintain that status throughout employment. This includes completing any necessary training and adhering to all reporting obligations as defined by applicable laws and tribal policies.
There are no supervisor requirements for this position.

Due to the sensitive nature of information obtained, must maintain strict confidentiality at all times. Able to lift more than 50 pounds and stand for extensive periods of time.
Communication both orally and written, Mohawk language and traditions are preferred, physically able to carry out the duties of the position and maintain confidentiality.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Fleet Policy.
The successful candidate must pass a drug test and background check prior to employment.
