BrightStar Care of Concord, Lexington, and Woburn is hiring a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Caregiver to provide compassionate, in-home support across Concord, Lexington, Waltham and surrounding areas.

We offer flexible hours, competitive pay up to $21/hour, RN supervision, paid orientation, training, and advancement opportunities. Benefits include mileage reimbursement, weekly pay, and a supportive team focused on high-quality client care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Home Health Aide Certificate from a recognized program.
• Prefer at least 1 year of caregiver/home care experience.
• CPR certification and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Driver’s license with insured vehicle.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English; effective communication.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility.
• HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful activities.
• Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and well-being.
• Follow individualized care plans to ensure client safety and comfort.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation as needed.

Home Health Aide (HHA) Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Home Health Aide (HHA) Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• HHAs must have valid/verifiable Home Health Aide Certificate from a reputable educational program.
• Preferred: one (1) year of documented caregiver, home care assistance experience is required
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile with proof of insurance.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality care.
• Adhere to HIPPA and maintain client confidentiality.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to provide support to push and pull, bend, lift, kneel depending upon the mobility of the client and must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
