Job summary

EmmUcare Home Health, serving Mifflinburg and surrounding areas, seeks compassionate caregivers to help clients stay comfortable, supported, and independent at home. You’ll follow care plans, assist with daily routines, and provide meaningful companionship.

We offer flexible scheduling, onboarding and ongoing training, and opportunities for advancement. Starting pay ranges from $11–$13 per hour with biweekly pay, plus benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Compassion, patience, and respect for each client’s privacy and preferences.
• Dependability and clear communication with clients and the office team.
• The ability to perform assigned care duties safely, with training and support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Support toileting and incontinence care while preserving dignity.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as directed in the care plan.
• Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and encouragement.
• Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.
• Report changes in a client’s condition or needs to the office.
• Record completed care tasks and clock in and out using our electronic visit verification system.

Pay, Scheduling, and Benefits

• Starting pay: $11–$13 per hour, depending on the assignment and approved offer.
