Job summary

Giving Home Health Care in NM is seeking compassionate HHA/CNA for in-home patient care on a 1099 contract basis. The role is 7 hours per day with flexible start times, performed at the patient’s residence, collaborating with CNAs, HHAs, case managers, and physicians.

You will advocate for patients, provide one-on-one care, monitor vital signs, assist with daily living activities, prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, and maintain documentation.

We are looking for a compassionate HHA or CNA in Los Luceros, NM to administer patient care in accordance with a physician established care plan.

This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient’s residence. Once our patients are accepted into the program, there is no expiration for this benefit, which allows our team of caregivers to build lasting relationships with their patients for years to come.

This patient has the following schedule openings:

7 hours a day. Flexible start time.

You’ll get to advocate for the patients and work one-on-one to provide them with the care that they need. This role will collaborate with CNA’s, HHA’s, Case Managers, and the patient’s physicians.

Offers are contingent upon passing a background check.

Responsibilities

• Work with the patient in their home to provide one-on-one service in a comfortable and familiar setting
• Assist with the patients’ activities of daily living as well as personal care
• Light housekeeping
• Meal preparation
• Monitor vitals (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) according to plan of care
• Remind patient of to take medication as prescribed
• Maintain records and documentation of services
• Communication with the patients’ family, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health and care of the patient.
