Job summary

Giving Home Health Care in Texas is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Panhandle, TX area to provide daily living and personal care services in patients’ homes per a physician care plan.

The position is a 1099 contract with 24hr/day care needs, FT or PRN, with shifts from 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am. Background checks are required before offers. Compensation ranges from $14 to $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• Current CPR, First Aid, and 2-Step TB Test are required.
• Prefer experience in clinical or home health care settings.

Responsibilities

• Execute physician-prescribed plans of care and document care in the system.
• Administer prescribed treatments and therapies.
• Perform patient assessments and coordinate care.
• Assist with activities of daily living and monitor vitals in the patient’s home.
• Communicate with family, doctors, and other care team members.

We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Panhandle, TX area to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients’ homes in accordance with a physician established care plan.

This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient’s residence. The current scheduling needs for this position will be established between the HHA/CNA, patient, and case manager.

Shifts: Patients needs involve 24hr/day care - FT or PRN opportunities available, with FT shift times being 8a-8p and 8p to 8a.

Offers are contingent upon passing a background check.

Responsibilities

• Executes physician prescribed plans of care and compliant documentation of care provided in system of record.
• Administers prescribed treatments, and therapies.
• Performs patient assessments, coordination of care.
• Performs various activities associated with daily living, communications, and monitoring of vitals while working at the patient’s home.
• Will be working with patients in a comfortable environment where the service is one-on-one.
• Communicates with family members, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health of patients.
• Performs other personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s needs.

Requirements

• Current CPR, First Aid, and 2-Step TB Test
• Prefer experience in a clinical care setting, home health preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Prolonged standing and walking required, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move patients.
• Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

$14 - $18 an hour
