Job summary

Giving Home Health Care is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides (HHA) or CNAs in Hernandez, NM to deliver in-home personal care per physician plans. This is a 1099 contract position with scheduling arranged between the HHA/CNA, patient, and case manager.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, light housekeeping, meal prep, vitals monitoring, and documentation. Candidates must have reliable transportation and CPR. Shifts available with hours to fit patient needs.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation.
• CPR certification required or in progress.
• Willingness to work on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one home care in the patient’s home.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.

• Maintain records and documentation of services

We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Hernandez, NM to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients’ homes in accordance with a physician established care plan.

This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient’s residence. The current scheduling needs for this position will be established between the HHA/CNA, patient, and case manager.

This patient has the following schedule openings:

Current Schedule Need: 15-hour shifts
Preferred Days: Monday through Sunday

Offers are contingent upon passing a background check.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the patient in their home to provide one-on-one service in a comfortable and familiar setting.
• Assist with the patients’ activities of daily living as well as personal care.
• Light housekeeping
• Meal preparation
• Monitor vitals (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) according to plan of care.
• Remind patient of to take medication as prescribed.
• Maintain records and documentation of services.
• Communication with the patients’ family, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health and care of the patient.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to work on an as-needed basis
• CPR

$15 - $20 an hour
