Abernathy Home Care is hiring certified Home Health Aides to provide compassionate in-home care to seniors across the local community. This family-owned agency leverages 30+ years of experience to help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

You will perform personal care, mobility assistance, meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping, companionship, errands, and drive clients to appointments.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification required.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
• Current TB test.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional demeanor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility.
• Prepare meals and offer medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping and household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Drive clients to appointments, errands, and community activities.
• Support clients living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
• Help improve each client’s comfort, independence, and quality of life.
