Job summary

Legacy Home Care in Newport, United States, is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (CNA, HHA, DSP, PCA, ILS) to support clients in their homes on a part-time daytime schedule. You will drive to clients' homes, provide personal care, and help with daily living activities, while building relationships and supporting independence.

We offer bonuses up to $2,000, a referral program, and benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid documentation to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Willing to travel up to 35 miles from home to clients.
• 1+ year of caregiving experience (CNA certification a plus)
• Able to pass a caregiving knowledge quiz (multiple-choice)
• Minimum availability of 10 hours per week, including 1 weekend shift per month

Responsibilities

• Drive to clients' homes and spend at least 2 hours with each client.
• Build strong rapport with older adult clients during visits.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and daily living activities.
• Help maintain household cleanliness and provide hands-on care such as transfers and exercises
