Job summary

Interim HealthCare in Waverly, Ohio is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide compassionate, one-on-one support to seniors in their homes. You will assist with activities of daily living, help with bathing, dressing, meal prep and transportation, monitor conditions, and promote safety and independence.

Qualifications

• Ohio HHA/CNA/STNA registration is required.
• 12 months of hands-on personal care experience.
• Valid Ohio driver''s license and own transportation.
• Compassionate, good communicator, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Set your own schedule with flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document health status, and notify a supervisor of concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.

As a Home Health Aide, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:
