Visiting Angels Waco is seeking a Home Health Aide - HHA to support clients in and around Waco, including Woodway, Hewitt, and nearby areas. The role offers flexible scheduling with a minimum of 20 hours per week and the chance to work with multiple clients in a private-duty home care setting.

Candidates must have over 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with the elderly, be able to work weekends, and possess reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license.

• Respond quickly in case of emergencies.

Home Health Aide - HHA

Visiting Angels Waco is a leading non-medical, private duty home care agency providing companionship, safety supervision and personal care to help adults continue to live safely with dignity and independently in their homes.

We are looking for a Home Health Aide - HHA who has availability on weekdays AND weekends. Home Health Aide - HHA shifts can be any length of time between 1 hour to 12 hours- day OR night! We coordinate with your availability and our clients' needs to build your perfect schedule! Our goal is to schedule you for a MINIMUM of 20 hours/week, which means you can pick up AS MANY clients as you'd like!!! Our clients reside in Waco and surrounding areas (Woodway, Hewitt, China Spring, West, Clifton, Valley Mills, Gatesville, Hillsboro, and MORE) therefore, a Home Health Aide - HHA MUST have reliable transportation of your own that you will drive to and from each client and be willing to travel outside of Waco. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply!

Home Health Aide - HHA job duties include but are not limited to:

• Hygiene and grooming assistance (bathing, dressing, incontinence care, etc.)
• Medication reminders
• Monitoring/safety supervision
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Laundry, errands and shopping
• Ambulation/mobility assistance, including lifting 50lbs and above
• Supportive companionship
• Respond quickly in case of an emergency
• Transportation to and from appointments

Home Health Aide - HHA Requirements:

• A great attitude, helpful and ready for anything
• Ability to take direction, follow rules and be proactive
• Good time management skills
• High integrity and strong ethics
• MUST have over 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with the elderly
• MUST be able to work weekends
• Be over 18 years old
• Successful completion of a Criminal History check
• Professional references
• Reliable transportation of your own that you will be driving
• Valid Driver’s License/clean driving record/proof of insurance
