Job summary

Visiting Angels in Waco, TX seeks a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to provide non-medical in-home care, companionship and safety supervision. Flexible schedules and a minimum target of 20 hours/week with a pay structure that includes weekly direct deposit are offered.

Responsibilities include hygiene assistance, medication reminders, meal prep, light housekeeping and transportation to appointments. Must have 1+ year caregiving experience and be willing to travel to clients' homes, with reliable

Qualifications

• MUST have over 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with the elderly.
• MUST be able to work weekends.
• Be over 18 years old.
• Successful completion of a Criminal History check.
• Professional references
• Reliable transportation of your own that you will be driving
• Valid Driver's License/clean driving record/proof of insurance

Patient Care Assistant - PCA

Visiting Angels Waco is a leading non-medical, private duty home care agency providing companionship, safety supervision and personal care to help adults continue to live safely with dignity and independently in their homes.

We are looking for a Patient Care Assistant - PCA who has availability on weekdays AND weekends. Patient Care Assistant - PCA shifts can be any length of time between 1 hour to 12 hours- day OR night! We coordinate with your availability and our clients' needs to build your perfect schedule! Our goal is to schedule you for a MINIMUM of 20 hours/week, which means you can pick up AS MANY clients as you'd like!!! Our clients reside in Waco and surrounding areas (Woodway, Hewitt, China Spring, West, Clifton, Valley Mills, Gatesville, Hillsboro, and MORE) therefore, a Patient Care Assistant - PCA MUST have reliable transportation of your own that you will drive to and from each client and be willing to travel outside of Waco. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply!
