Visiting Angels Waco is seeking a Home Health Aide - HHA to provide compassionate non-medical in-home care for seniors in the Waco area. You will support daily living activities, monitor safety, and accompany clients to appointments, adopting a client‑centered approach in a schedule that fits both client needs and your availability.

The role offers flexible shifts including options from 1 to 12 hours, with a minimum target of 20 hours per week and travel to multiple client homes.

Qualifications

• Must have over 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with the elderly.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Criminal history check required.
• Professional references available.
• Be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Hygiene and grooming assistance (bathing, dressing, incontinence care, etc.).
• Medication reminders.
• Monitoring/safety supervision.
• Meal preparation.
• Light housekeeping.
• Laundry, errands and shopping.
• Ambulation/mobility assistance (lifting 50lbs+).
• Supportive companionship.
• Respond quickly in case of an emergency.
• Transportation to and from appointments.
