Visiting Angels of Reading is seeking a Home Health Aide - HHA to work in and around Berks and Northern Chester County. We offer both part-time and full-time positions with day, evening, and overnight shifts.

Applicants MUST have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 months experience caring for seniors and/or disabled adults. Reliable transportation is required, and reliability and professionalism are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 6 months of experience caring for seniors and/or disabled adults.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Reliability and professionalism are important.
• Must enjoy assisting others.
• Dementia/Alzheimer's experience is a plus; CNA is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks (oral care, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming).
• Provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, vacuuming).
• Plan, prepare and serve meals.
• Assist with transfers, mobility and activity.
• Provide transportation to appointments and outings.
• Offer companionship and positive assistance at all times.

Home Health Aide - HHA responsibilities may include:
