Job summary

CareBuilders at Home is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide in-home care for clients in Sarasota, FL. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, meal preparation, companionship, and light housekeeping in clients’ homes.

Full-time opportunities are available. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and successfully complete HHA competency evaluation and ADRD training.

Responsibilities

• Assist elderly clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).

• Monitor health status and report changes to supervisor.
• Transport clients to medical appointments and errands.

Job Description:

CareBuilders at Home is looking for a Home Health Aide to provide in-home care for our clients. The Home Health Aide will be responsible for providing assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. The successful candidate will also be expected to provide companionship and support to patients. Fulltime opportunities will be available.

Responsibilities of the Home Health Aide (HHA):

• Assist elderly clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Skills and Qualifications of the Home Health Aide (HHA):

• High school diploma or GED
• On-the-job training or certification for home health aides preferred
• Must be able to pass an HHA competency evaluation and ADRD training
• Current CPR certification is required
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check. (ACHA Level 2 Screening)
