Job summary

Responsibilities include monitoring changes, providing companionship, maintaining a safe environment, and supporting mobility and feeding as outlined in care plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid HHA certification in the state of [State].
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or required depending on state).
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and staff.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and assist residents as needed.

The HHA will assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring their comfort, dignity, and overall well-being in accordance with each resident’s care plan and under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
