Job summary

PACE in Milford, Delaware is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our full-time team providing in-home care to patients. You will monitor vital signs, assist with daily activities, administer medications, and support families to promote safety, comfort, and independence.

We offer a competitive rate of $19 per hour, comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and PTO with six paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Nice to have Delaware CNA or HHA certification.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including personal care, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
• Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support patients with medication management, including administration and tracking.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, treatment plans, and progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and families to ensure comprehensive care.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of patient rights and dignity, respecting individual preferences and needs.
