Job summary

A home health care provider in Delaware is seeking Certified Home Health Aides (HHA) to support seniors and individuals with disabilities in living independently at home. Responsibilities include following care plans, assisting with personal care, and maintaining a clean environment. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or GED, and be able to pass background checks. New graduates are welcomed and hours are flexible to suit candidates' needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Experience in in-home care services is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan/service plan for the client and report on completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care including bathing and dressing.
• Provide routine house cleaning.

Addus HomeCare Certified Home Health Aides (HHA) are hiring throughout Delaware. With over 20 years of service, we offer services for seniors and people with disabilities to live independently at home.

If you have 75 hours of documented training from an accredited program, immediate openings are available.

Employment is steady and hours are flexible to accommodate school, personal or family needs. Home Health Aides can work up to 30 hours or more a week. Newly graduated students are welcome to apply!

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan/service plan for the client and report on completed tasks
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, meal preparation)
• Provide routine house cleaning
• As part of the client's Health Care Team, a Home Health Aide must observe and report any changes in client's condition
• Promote our positive image in the community as the leading home care provider

• High school diploma or GED or one year experience in in‑home care services
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
