Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in Highland and Brown County, Ohio is hiring Full-Time Home Health Aides to provide compassionate in-home care for seniors. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, meal preparation, transportation and companionship in clients' homes.

We offer 1:1 client ratios, flexible scheduling, and a supportive team. A minimum of 12 months supervised personal care experience and a valid Ohio driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• 12 months of supervised experience hands-on personal care.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, helpful, and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and report concerns to a supervisor.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Engage clients in activities that bring joy, such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.

As a Home Health Aide, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Valid Ohio driver’s license, auto insurance and your own transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
