Qualifications

• Current New Jersey HHA certification required.
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and personal hygiene.
• Providing companionship and building meaningful relationships with residents.
• Encouraging participation in social activities and community events.
• Observing and reporting changes in residents' physical or emotional well-being.
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and resident safety.
• Partnering with nurses and fellow team members to provide exceptional resident care.
• Helping create a warm, welcoming, and engaging environment where residents can thrive.

What You'll Do

As a Home Health Aide (HHA), you'll help residents maintain their independence while providing compassionate, personalized care by:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and personal hygiene

• Providing companionship and building meaningful relationships with residents

• Encouraging participation in social activities and community events

• Observing and reporting changes in residents' physical or emotional well-being
