Job summary

Homewatch CareGivers of New Haven and the Shoreline is seeking experienced Home Health Aides to provide compassionate in-home care in New Haven, Connecticut. The role offers hourly pay of $18–$20 and opportunities for bonuses and paid training.

Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, and mobility assistance. A minimum of 3 years in caregiving and a current HHA certificate are required, with a high school diploma or equivalent.

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our Homewatch CareGivers of New Haven and the Shoreline team. If you're passionate about providing exceptional care and making a difference in someone's life, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-home care services to clients, including personal care, light housekeeping, and meal preparation
• Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist clients with mobility and transfers
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and client status

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in caregiving, preferably in home care, IIC, assisted living, or a similar setting
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate in Home Health Aide or related field preferred
• Licenses and Certifications: Current HHA certificate or certification in a related field
• Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals; strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Transportation: Reliable vehicle and a clean driving record
• Background and Drug Screen: Pass pre-employment background and drug screenings
