Job summary

Visiting Angels Topeka is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) to support clients in the Topeka area, including Auburn and surrounding communities.

You will provide compassionate care, assist with daily living activities, and help families maintain comfort and independence in familiar surroundings.

Qualifications

• Experience as Home Health Aide (HHA) preferred.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living.
• Safe driving and reliable transportation.
• Current/valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and meal preparation.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide transportation for medical appointments and other activities.
• Monitor client’s health status and report changes to appropriate personnel.
• Follow safety protocols when providing care.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families.

Home Health Aide - HHA Responsibilities:
