Job summary

Visiting Angels Topeka seeks a caring Home Health Aide - HHA to support clients in Auburn, Topeka, and surrounding areas with compassionate, in-home care and daily living assistance. You will provide companionship, meal prep help, and mobility support in a respectful, client-focused environment.

We offer both full-time and part-time shifts including days, evenings, weekends and overnights. Enjoy a flexible schedule, weekly pay, and a sign-on bonus as you help clients stay independent at home.

Qualifications

• Passion to serve others - a true caregiver.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
• Respectful and compassionate.
• Good time management skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current/Valid Drivers License.
• Car with current Auto Insurance (Sometimes this job requires you to transport clients in your car.)

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide transportation for medical appointments and other activities.
• Monitor client's health status and report any changes to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow safety protocols when providing care.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families.
