Job summary

Visiting Angels Topeka is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support clients in Auburn, Topeka and nearby areas. You’ll provide companionship, assist with daily living activities, light housekeeping, and transportation, while upholding safety and dignity.

This role offers both full-time and part-time options with flexible scheduling, day, evening, overnight shifts, and a supportive team environment that recognizes dedication and reliability.

Qualifications

• Passion to serve others - a true caregiver.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
• Respectful and compassionate.
• Good time management skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current/Valid Drivers License.
• Car with current Auto Insurance (Sometimes this job requires you to transport clients in your car.)

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide transportation for medical appointments and other activities.
• Monitor client's health status and report any changes to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow safety protocols when providing care.
