Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in southern Illinois is seeking Home Health Aides (HHA) to support seniors at home with compassionate, one-to-one care. You’ll help with daily activities, safety, and social engagement, enabling clients to live independently.

Flexible scheduling, online CEUs, and generous PTO accompany competitive pay of $17–$18 per hour. Drivers license and reliable transportation are required; you’ll join a local, patient-centered team dedicated to quality home care.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Valid IL driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
