Job summary

Interim HealthCare is hiring Home Health Aides across southern Illinois. This role emphasizes flexibility and work-life balance, letting you design a schedule around your life while delivering patient-centered home care.

Expect hourly pay of $17–$18, 1:1 caregiver-to-client ratios, and opportunities to enhance skills through online training and CEUs. The position also includes generous PTO and ongoing professional growth in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Valid IL driver's license, auto insurance, and transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator, ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation, companionship).
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document conditions, and notify supervisor of concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy (puzzles, games, reading, hobbies).

As a Home Health Aide, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:
