Job summary

Interim HealthCare in Illinois seeks Home Health Aide/HHAs to provide compassionate in-home care, assisting seniors with daily activities, mobility, medication reminders, and safety. You will help clients maintain independence in their own homes.

Must be at least 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent, and hold a valid IL driver’s license with auto insurance and transportation. Shift options include 12-hour nights, with online training and tuition discounts available.

Qualifications

• Provide personal care and support to seniors to help them live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and maintain a safe home environment.

• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders and document client condition for supervisor
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Engage clients with activities like puzzles, games, reading and hobbies
• Be available to work 12 Hour Shifts 8PM-8AM

As a Home Health Aide/HHA, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:

• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies
• A few must-haves for Home Health Aides/HHAs:
• Be Available to work 12 Hour Shifts 8PM-8AM

• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Valid ILdriver's license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
